One thing before you start
You need to agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy to use Walters Sentinel. This is a one-off - you will not be asked again.
Your organizations
The organizations you can access are listed below.
Pick a plan to create your first organization
An organization holds your monitors, your team and its own subscription. Buying a plan creates one - you choose the name at checkout.
Already been invited to one? Ask whoever runs it for the invite code, then .
Try any plan
Your address has tester access. Create an organization on any plan and it will behave exactly as a paid one - same monitor limits, same check intervals, same alerting. Nothing is charged.
What to check on each plan
- Monitor limits - add monitors until it stops you, and confirm the message names the right number.
- Check intervals - Starter and Business should not offer anything faster than 5 minutes; Enterprise should offer 1 and 2 minutes; MSP should offer 30 seconds.
- Organization limits - Starter and Business allow one, Enterprise two, MSP unlimited.
- Alerting - point a monitor at a broken address, set the failure threshold to 1, and confirm the email arrives and then the recovery email after you fix it.
- Maintenance windows - Enterprise and above only.
- The status page - open it signed out and confirm only the monitors marked public appear.

You're on the Free plan
One website or API, checked every 5 minutes. Upgrade in Billing for more monitors, faster checks, DNS and email checks, and your team.
Add a monitor
Point it at an address and choose what to watch. Only the first section is required - everything else has a sensible default.
Nothing is being watched yet
Add your first address and we'll start checking it. You'll hear from us when something breaks - and not before.
Not sure it's set up right? Fill the form in and use Test without saving - it sends a real request and tells you what came back.
Members
Everyone who can sign in and see this organization's monitors.

Roles & alert routing
Decide what each person can do, and which alerts reach them. Somebody on call does not need the billing emails, and whoever pays the invoices does not need waking at 3am.
Clients
Each client gets their own isolated monitors and a white-labeled status page.

Change plan
Nothing renews automatically. You are never charged without choosing to be.
Payment history
Every payment on this organization. Refunds are not issued - see the Terms.
Organization
The name and logo used across the dashboard, your public status page and every alert email.
Delete this organization
This permanently removes the organization, its monitors and all their history. It cannot be undone, and no refund is given for any remaining time - see the Terms.
Alert recipients
Everyone here is emailed the moment a check fails. Add your on-call inbox, a shared team address, or anyone who needs to know.
Alert delivery
Who hears about a problem, when, and whose name is on the email.
Slack, Teams & webhooks
Business planSend alerts where your team already is. Email is still sent as well.
Quiet hours
Enterprise planHold non-urgent warnings overnight - an expiring certificate can wait until morning. Outages always go straight through, at any hour. Held alerts still appear in the dashboard and the digest.
Escalation
Enterprise planIf a monitor is still down after a set time, we email a second list. An alert nobody reads is worth nothing; the same alert to somebody else half an hour later is how an outage actually ends.
Email digests
Enterprise planA summary of every monitor, whether anything broke or not. The thing an alert email cannot give you: proof it was all fine this week.
Your name on the alerts
White-label / MSP planAlerts sign off as you, and replies reach you rather than us. Your clients need never know who runs the monitoring.
Scheduled maintenance
Pause alerting for a planned change. Checks keep running and history stays accurate - only the emails are held back.
